Soybean & Corn Advisor, Inc.
The mission of Soybean & Corn Advisor is to provide our readers with the most up-to-date information about soybean and corn production that you can’t find anywhere else. On this site, you will find articles that deal primarily with soybean and corn production in North America and South America, but we also inform our readers about other crops such as wheat, cotton, and sugarcane in addition to ethanol and biodiesel production. The Soybean & Corn Advisor does not trade the commodity markets or give trading advise and we never have a position in the markets. This allows us to supply accurate information to our readers regardless of market activity.
The Soybean & Corn Advisor offers the following services: Website, Newsletter, and Premier Service.
Dr. Michael Cordonnier Biography
Dr. Cordonnier holds a Ph.D. in agronomy from Michigan State University and has been involved in global crop production for more than 45 years. His experience in South America started in the early 1970’s when he conducted agricultural research in Mato Grosso, Brazil. He has been a keen observer of the development of the soybean industry in South America over the last 45 years. Dr. Cordonnier is fluent in Portuguese and travels regularly to Brazil, Argentina, and Paraguay to inspect the soybean and corn crops. During the U.S. growing season, he travels extensively throughout the Midwest analyzing crop conditions and making weekly crop production estimates. He appears frequently on national television and radio programs to discuss world agricultural issues. He is now president of Soybean & Corn Advisor, Inc., a consulting firm that works with many Fortune 500 companies and the agricultural trading community specializing in fundamental analysis of soybean and corn production with special emphasis on South America.
In addition to providing up-to-date agricultural information such as crop acreages and crop production, the Soybean & Corn Advisor web site also provides information concerning North American and South American cropping cycles, weather, infrastructure, land utilization, ethanol production, and alternative fuels. The web site will have daily news stories concerning the latest developments in agriculture.
